My RISD is a mobile and desktop solution that will personalize your RISD experience and make it easier for students, staff, faculty and visitors to access campus services and resources. 

How to get it?

Download the My RISD app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store* to load it on your device.  

Go to my.risd.edu to access it on your desktop.  

*Attention Android Users - If your Android phone is linked with your RISD email address you will have trouble accessing the Google Play Store. To get around this you'll need to switch to a non-risd Google account (e.g. jdoe@gmail.com) before downloading the app. Follow the instructions below to switch accounts in a Google Play app:

1. Open a Google Play app.
   
2. Tap Menu.
   
• ​​If you don't see the menu icon in the top left corner, tap back until you're on the app home screen. 
  
3. Look for the name and email address of the account you're using at the top of the screen.
   
4. Tap the Down arrow.
   
5. Tap the account you want to use.​
   

What are personas?

Personas provide a personalized view of rele​vant information based on your assoiciated group (e.g. students, faculty, staff and visitors).​ Select the person icon ​ on the top right corner to toggle between personas.​​ 

Currently there are four personas:  

​Students - will include RISD modules/links that a student will reference in order to navigate RISD.​

Staff & Faculty - will include modules/links that Staff and Faculty will reference in order to navigate RISD. You may be prompted for your RISD username and password to access certain information.

Welcome to RISD - will include general RISD modules/links that a visitor will reference in order to navigate RISD.

CE: Pre-College and Summer Programs - will include modules/links that all CE students and CE Faculty can reference before and while on campus. Also, we will include general RISD modules/links that will assist with navigating RISD.​
